Post Letters sent within Hungary cost 48 Ft. Mail addressed to ‘ Poste Restante, Budapest’ will be sent to the post office with extended hours next to Nyugati train station at VI Terez korut 51. When picking up mail, look for the sign ‘postan marado kuldemenyek’. Don’t forget identification. You can have your mail delivered to American Express (1052 Budapest, Deak Ferenc utca) if you have an American Express credit card or travellers’ cheques.
